I didn’t get to take much photos during the third day since we spent the entire day in Everland. And because of that, I didn’t want to be bringing my bulky DSLR around, so I stuck to taking photos with my mobile phone. I apologize in advance that the photos I took aren’t of high quality since I spent a lot of time moving around and trying to enjoy the theme park. It was a day that went by pretty fast and in a blur, so the photos I took of that day were pretty much in a random mix-up as well.
Everland faintly reminds me of Disneyland, but gives off a slightly Parisian feel to it. Though the theme park wasn’t exactly divided according to themes/zones, it had a flow that really made me interested to continue checking out what the other areas of the theme park had to offer.
I recall that the first ride that we rode was something like a “tornado” ride (I forgot the name, sorry!). It’s similar to the Anchor’s Away of Enchanted Kingdom, Philippines, except the vessel spins rapidly while swinging back and forth. Honestly, I think that was a bad decision for a first ride, since we were still trying to get oriented with the theme park! It left us recomposing ourselves on benches near a bumper car ride for several minutes since we got so dizzy.
Also, being the acrophobic that I am, I stuck to less extreme rides, since I get bad vertigo with more extreme ones. :S I enjoyed spending majority of my time seeing and interacting with the animals in their zoo area (which is really also well worth the Everland experience!). I guess it’s because most of the rides are a bit too “adventurous” for me (me=lame haha :c). Because of this, I can fairly conclude that people in Korea are mostly the thrill-seeking type, I think! lol
At the end of the day, I think it felt more like we (well, to me, at least) visited a zoo (which is probably half of what Everland has to offer, I think), since most of the activities we did there involved animals. haha! But, despite seeing and petting animals having the bigger ratio as compared to experiencing the rides, it was still heaps of fun!
